WHAT IS GOING WRONG?

The philosophy of Yin and Yang asserts that when something reaches its top, it changes its course and moves downward, and when it hits the bottom, it starts to go upward. If that is true, the world economy had reached the top, and started to go down.
May I say at 50% accuracy that 50% of the world population is really concerned about their finance? The other 50% of the world does not have anything to loose, and doesn’t care. Top priority of the World Leaders today is “economy.” They will receive credits if they succeed in restoring economy. Many leaders in many countries have tried their best to stop the falling of the stock market. So far, no one knows where we are heading.
In 2008, in the US, the presidential candidates proclaimed that they are the best person who can solve the economic problems. The candidates who were elected seemed to have the wisdom needed to fix the present economic crisis and bring back the past prosperity. The question we can ask is, “Who really can fix the current problem?” No one knows for sure who that genius is. But we are sure that only God can rescue any country from the mess she is in. Does that mean we just stay put and wait for the Lord to intervene on our behalf?
What does the Bible teach about success and prosperity? Two thousand four hundred years ago Moses spoke to God’s people, “If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth...
The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity... You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none” (Deut 28:1, 11, 12—NIV).
God does not bless a country unconditionally. He will set us high above all nations, He will grant us abundant prosperity, and we will lend, and will not borrow if we fully obey Him and carefully follow all His commands.
The Bible has provided us with the key to financial success. If we fail, and encounter hardship, it’s our fault. What do our leaders can do? Yes, they should do something about the economic crisis, about the financial problems. However, they must fast and pray fervently for wisdom and for grace to lead. If they think they can solve the problems by their own strength, they kid themselves.
Should the leaders bear the burden alone? No, of course not, as citizens, we must join in our leaders’ endeavors, and fast and pray that the Lord has mercy on us, and deliver us from the current calamity. All citizens should do our part; we should review our financial management, our spending priority, our business or laziness, and especially our giving.
LET’S UNITE OUR ENDEAVORS, OUR FAITH, DO OUR BEST AND BELIEVE THAT THE LORD WILL DO THE REST. LET’S BELIEVE THAT FINANCIAL SITUATION WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL.

  1. God creates us without sins and in His image! But due to our first parents, Adam and Eva, who were "light-hearted" and had committed sins by their disobedience, we all inheritted the "original sins" ! As sinners, we can only be saved by our own repentance and prayers addressed to God to ask for His blessings and forgiveness!
Many thanks for your great postings. MT
